Shortly after starting The Controversial Truth Project we began running into issues with social networks banning posts once they start to trend, with anything aside from disinformation or nonsense leading us to provide an option for fans and followers of the site to help us grow.

Twitter will be one of your main services for getting new followers, on crowd fire you will copy followers of well-known accounts for the topics you manage.
in turn many will follow you back and you will go through a process of following new people they return some don’t and the ones that don’t follow back after a few days to a week you stop following and repeat the process.
Over a few weeks I held an average of 1k new followers a week. Now i get about 50 new followers a day without having to follow people first.

Don’t be shy with adding new people on any of your accounts, some people will be jerks, some will be cool. It’s just the way it works, your drag netting and some people with be hostile thinking you’re a scammer or something. Most however are pretty cool even with the highly controversial subjects i share.

Add people from Facebook groups that you're in frequently for the subjects you mange they will be most likely to share your ideas.

First off you need accounts of every sort. Make yourself a Facebook (profile, page and group), twitter, google+, Instagram and YouTube. Also make a backup set in case you are shut down.
I know this is a lot of work but it's the foundation and has to be done to be able to build up.
